Million Miler Possibility.

How can we check our miles towards a million miler status (even if the program is not there yet).

I have seen some comments on the ease of finding out how many miles we have as lifetime with OP.

How can I check this for my account?

Thanks.

I think this is one issue they're going to address before publishing the program. They need a way of accurately accounting for everyone's miles but they do have records all the way to the beginning. I believe if you call the OPSC you can get them to potentially read you off a number over the phone.

How do we find Gordon's Galley at IAH? Is there a secret password or handshake we must use?

I know nothing.

The squirrel barks at midnight.

This never happened.

I found out by sending E-mails to co.com; however, it took me three e-mails to get their attention. The first two replies were canned responses of some sort.

Gordon's Galley is access through this elevator. See the big sign up there? And the lack of "restricted" or "prohibited" signs anywhere around the elevator? :)

There have been several heated discusions here among employees about the 'restricted' or 'prohibited' issue. I beleive that it is NOT 'restricted'. The problem is that once you are down there by the store and caffetetia, there is direct, uncontrolled access to other 'restriced' areas. I was under the impression access to GG was going to be restricted, but that discussion was at least a year ago, and still no signs.

Perhaps Scott O'Leary can give us the final answer???

Hi LatAmCommuter, the only information our OnePass personnel have access to is program-to-date miles earned. They do not have access to sole EQM earnings, which is what our Million Miler program will be based upon. At which time we introduce our Million Miler program, we will also build the ability to track your Million Miler qualifying accrual at continental.com.

Hi jsmcnabb, please note that the program-to-date mileage amounts our personnel have access to include bonuses and non-flight miles that won't be considered eligible toward our Million Miler status.

Do I understand correctly that any Million Mile status will NOT recognize bonus (i.e. non-EQM) miles? On a related note, doesn't AA's million mile program include ALL miles?

That is correct.

They must maintain the integrity of the million mile status!

I cannot wait for this program to be released(assuming it will). I have been a OP member since 1988 many of which were elite. I am probably very close to one million miles.

Yes. AA is the only one who includes ALL miles. From a customer perspective it's great. From a business perspective I really have to question the wisdom of doing that.

It's probably helps them sell their AA credit card miles.

Can you elaborate on this? Did they not sell all 500 of them, or are they making more available since they all disappeared less than 30 minutes from when they sent the email?
