I have also experienced extreme sluggishness from time to time but nothing bad enough where I could not access my VPN at all.

I have failed to pull myself away from the bar area at CLE to try another area as I had mentioned I would try, I think that I can try this on Saturday (fingers crossed and it depends on the OSU game that I will miss 1/2 of)

This is really frustrating, especially since its my home club and when I awake at 4AM to be at the airport at 7AM it would be nice to at least be able to grab my emails in the 20 minutes I have in the PC (between 4-7AM I average 30 emails.. ).
Hi CLEHillbilly, next time this happens, please report it immediately to our front desk staff. They're very diligent about opening problem tickets, and they're in frequent communication with the team that maintains our connectivity. Also, make sure you're connecting to the Presidents Club network, and not one of the neighboring networks in this location (like "co_crew_wireless", which is used in our adjacent crew room and has an unavoidable signal from the lounge).

Based on the feedback when this thread was originally opened, we did conduct a number of tests, and it appears there is plenty of signal in this lounge at all hours. As always, we're glad to address these issues when they come up, but please do take the time to report them to our front desk staff. They are in the most immediate position to take action.

Thanks for everyones input and help....I doubt its just me but ya never know....those dang "hillbillies" always mess it up...<g>

Ok, I will make an effort to try to get to the PC early on Saturday and if I still experience the problems I will report them to the ladies/gents at the front desk. Your'e really killing me though, I will also pull/drag myself away from the bar (picture a baby and his bottle) and try to connect from the other areas in the PC.

FYI, I have no other WIFI networks in CLE configured on my Dell PC, however somehow in EWR I recently saw the "concourse" WIFI seems to connect before the EWR PC WIFI networks. I do not know how the concourse WIFI even got added to my list, I only do the inet through the PC's. Because of this I will delete all of my WIFI connections on Saturday to see if that helps, but honestly I think I have already been down that road a month or two ago...but will try again for a clean test of it.

This all hinges on my ability to see a TV with the Buckeyes on it during these tests....no buckeyes then I am back to the bar where OSU football is gauranteed to be on TV and the bartender refills this babies bottle without even asking....

Thanks again everyone,
Cheers,
CLEHillBilly
