P club in Houston E to be closed...

For the first time ever, for the Cigarman/ COntinental Event coming up, the P club will be closed to eveyone except us! Our saturday night party (sept 29th) will take place on all three levels. This "private Party in the P club"... took alot of work. SHifting international flights that day to the C terminal. Dealing with the food issues (keep the P club clean) where to put the band. The other suprises (what will be in the conference rooms upstairs... ) All kinds of issues. When the insider suggested it. I never expected that we could all the permission necessary. But... we did! So get ready to party in the P club at our jet set party. Now you know why I said you could dress up if you wnated. Think cool James Bond meets the rat pack. We will have a level of Casino games, of course the bars etc. It will be amazing! SO PLEASE SIGN UP SOON!

Sorry, to grab your attention with the thread title. But, I wanted to make sure everyone knew about our huge event and to hurry and sign up!

Just amazing. Have you or CO alerted the Chronicle? I would think they would be all over this story. Great press for CO and Flyertalk.

Thanks for your hard work on this.

For those of use with early flights out on Sunday can we just hang out in the PC after the party until our departures? Maybe a quick shower?

This is awesome, and will be way more comfortable than in the hangar without a/c. Way to go Cigarman and CO ^ ^ ^

This is very cool. I take it we all have to clear security the usual way, i.e. no special line for us DO'ers? So those that really want to dress like James Bond should leave the "PPK" behind ?

Most Amazing Feat

This venue is an amazing grab considering all of the technical/tactical issues that exist in securing it.... ranging from liquor laws ...to CO ops shifting international flights to other gates so as to not disturb their own PC experience for their flights.

A huge ^ for Cigarman for pulling the 'Do together ...and an even larger ^ for the dozens of CO folks, ranging from executives to front-liner's, that are making this possible!

I never thought we'd see them close a PC for us...not to mention the Terminal E club. I'm impressed.

So will there be a live Flyertalk Feed?

Well, I hope the wireless internet in the PC is ready for this..... Should we plan a live feed from the club?

I can't belive this event, it has become an event that you pretty much have to put everything else on hold. If you miss this one you will miss the big one. I have sent out some additional emails to get some more CO Flyers there. Thanks again to Cigar and all the folks at CO on making this an event to not miss. See everyone at the pool in a few weeks.

Can you provide details on how we will clear security?
