Women who go nuts over flowers are fine. It's the ones that are addicted to sparkly rocks that worry me. :-:

I love getting carnations. They smell wonderful and last forever.

Apparently the US pilots' union is more dysfunctional than I thought. Their EVP just resigned and is running a new website attacking the union. It is sortof awesome to read.

I have that same connection. Even if it gets flubbed, you can reroute and claim original routing credit.

I just went to the grocery store for dinner, while there I found a sale. I am not fan of tony's frozen pizzas, but for 39 cents each....I got 3.
It won't be dinner, but maybe a lunch some other day. |

For my wedding flowers, I went against the grain and had lots of wild flowers. In my bouquet I had yellow roses and Queens Anne Lace (which is technically a weed). I showed my wedding photos to a secretary at my workplace and she shrieked "Oh my God, you had WEEDS at your wedding".
For the first high school prom I went to, I got my date a yellow rose boutonniere (black dress = no worries about matching) because it was my favorite color. I didn't realize the added benefit till the end of the night when all the guys were looking for their identical tux jackets which they had ditched hours before...very easy to pick out in a sea of white roses and carnations. :D That idea followed me to all future proms and formal occasions throughout HS and college... |
