So I get off the plane at FLL and call my colleague in Miami to make sure he's still on time for the client meeting at noon. Long silence, then "Oh f..., I forgot to tell you, they canceled the meeting for today and want to postpone until Thursday":mad::mad:

Actully in the end, not a big deal, I'm here primarily to visit other clients, I was just throwing a bone to my Miami colleague by agreeing to go to this meeting with him. Also I now get a free afternoon in South FL, but given that it's only 55F here, I really would have traded that for some sleep this morning.

Just checked in to the W, guess I'll have some lunch here.

This caught my eye when I was in Dubai:

I could see the tail was EK but was not sure they had 747s, after a closer look I found that it was a cargo plane.

Considering bringing the family to the AUS do. We would be driving up, since it's a lot easier to travel w/ a baby without the TSA telling us to take off her slippers. It happened in BOS. A 14 month old is a terror threat?!?

"Doug, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"

"I think so Richard, but, ..."

Finally made it home. Apartment is still in one piece and all the bags came through the double connect just fine.

Time for much sleeping.

Understood - I've been up about a half hour.

As penance you'll have to fly somewhere south of 0 Degrees latitude.

I got a stack of M&S $20 coupons from the LGA P-Club yesterday morning. I have a few on my desk right now and plan on going tonight. Ill report back with what $20 will get me but I remember they had a deal last year where you make a reservation online and get $20 or $25 in food. I think it covered fried fish and one other item that was under the limit where I only had to leave $5-$7 for tax/tip.

I recall when Citi sent me a bunch in 2008 I was able to get meals for essentially the cost of a drink and tip.

God I hope not. The AUS DO i blame on myself, i somehow managed to book one of the MSP-GEG runs that weekend.

PRG is still not a definite, though I did get UA to add the last IAH-EWR leg on this morning. :)

The Google Nexus release is being done by 5 year olds I think. Poor speakers, really bad camera work, sound problems. The people on TV are just busting on them since it's so not up to the standards of showmanship such as Apple.

Or Palm.....which with the latest updates is finally meeting most of the potential it has had all along. Really loving my Pre since 1.3.5 :D

Got 3d acceleration finally, smooth flowing menus that are faster than an iphone, and fast browsing...but it should have been launched with all this after their impressive launch event!
