DUJ-CLE made it no problem, just no stop in FKL because of snow on runway. Retrojet is here at C24 for CLE-IAH. Yay!!

COFlyerCLE Dec 19, 2009 6:40 am

Morning Box. Nice light snow here in CLE (at least on the southeast side), but nothing compared to what the east coast is getting.

Met my first random FT'er yesterday on my flight home from DFW. Pretty cool!

Good morning, Box. Catchup multiquote ahead.

I'd be disappointed if it was in the fridge too - vodka is freezer material.

I do remember hearing stories about a certain PHL-IAH flight...

I only had two drinks on that flight; I cannot speak for others. :o

I'll check my calendar but it might work.

Will probably do some time in AC in early May...have a cousin's wedding in Marlton NJ the first weekend in May and figure I should go to AC on said trip as well.

Marlton is right down the street from me.

Well, I changed Saturday's 6:05AM RSW-EWR to Friday night. Plane left with 10 empty seats in F  and landed over 40 minutes early.

Good choice. :-: We're getting hammered with snow down here in Haddon Heights. Fiancee has decided that knowledge of snow is enough and has turned on the Christmas music channel.

Co.com also claims CO1869 is going, but I have my doubts  I hope it does though, I'm looking forward to being one of only 11 passengers on this flight

Hope you get the upgrade!!

It's snowing like mad in DC at present, with about four inches already on the ground.

Sadly I'm on a last minute X fare reward ticket, so an upgrade seems unlikely :(

G'morning, Box.

Looking forward to some snow today. It'll keep me inside and get me to clean my apartment, something that is desperately needed at this point.

And I could barely speak when the flight was done. :p

I like the concept of drinking a plane dry but there really is a LOT of alcohol involved in such an effort. Some of the bits are easy - rum, Grand Marnier & Kahlua, for example - but there is a ton of vodka and a pretty decent selection of bad wine in the back. We'd have to come up with a pretty serious game plan before attempting such.

It's not that bad up here, but it is up over the curbs with not a plow in sight.

Morning Box. It's very cold here, but no snow yet.

ConciergeMike Dec 19, 2009 7:38 am

Just talked to my mother in FL - apparently she is watching Teh Weather Channel and they are calling 20" total accumulation in PHL.

Olton Hall Dec 19, 2009 7:45 am

Morning Box. I'm finally drinking my first cup of coffee after running some errands that I aborted on last night because of the traffic.

That must be frustrating for you to have to deal with or is this something you've grown use to over time?

It started to snow here around 8:30 this morning. Of course that was when I left the house. It started to get a bit slippery while I was out. I'm in the middle of the the 12"-16" band. I might be in one of those freak more than 16" bands.

I see DC is expecting 15 to 24" inches. Wow! That city will be shut down until the spring thaw.

ConciergeMike Dec 19, 2009 7:52 am

Even people not into hockey can appreciate this. Click the only goal in the 3rd period, by Bryce Salvador. NHL.com won't let me hotlink to the video clip.

Olton Hall Dec 19, 2009 8:06 am

And now it has stopped snowing.
