I am ashamed to admit it but I've become a coffee snob. I've even taken up hanging out with people who roast beans locally and make some mad espresso. It is amazing how bad roasting coffee smells and yet how simple the process is.

I'm also going to try and grab a Chemex coffee maker and try it out versus the French Press.

Does anyone own a Chemex?

I enjoy Lone Star in the warmer months and it is a really good beer for use when smoking/bbq'ing.

The Amber is one of my favorites of theirs that gets wide distribution (in Texas). They only make two batches of Divine Reserve each year, and each year's is different. They disappear quick. I got lucky yesterday, as my cousin had managed to stockpile some. I've never managed to find any in a store.
