We just wrote almost 40 x-mas cards in the last 30 minutes. Jack is here for me, and Mr. Bailey (I presume a male) is here for her...

Gawd there are so many more to send...

This is why I'm glad I'm single...making a phone call is viewed as a significant contribution to communicating.

Edit: What will you be in BKK for? Transit or ?

We're doing a 23 hour connection on our way home from HKG. The CO nonstop isn't available so we're going HKG-BKK-LAX-PHL. That's not the best routing, but it is all in the pointy end and we get to experience the loo:eek:oong BKK-LAX flight. I'd rather go in/out of EWR, but nobody had F availability. Even if LAX-PHL is on US(!) it's in F which is better than Y on CO or UA. I'm still hoping for an EWR-LAX F availability miracle (not likely, as there are four of us).

I just got done booking about 15 award nights at various Hilton/Conrad properties. I called the HKG Conrad and they assured me we could get two adults and two kids into a room... even though the computer says no...

I'm definitely not at the stage in my life to buy a house.

And for some reason...there was just a rather large pop that came out of my Woodford...it startled me a little.

I bought mine at age 30; wish I had found TN much earlier in life.

I will say that I'm glad that I don't have to deal with the upkeep or anything. We were having a discussion about this at work today - all the homeowners are paying a lot more in heating right now; meanwhile, I pay a set amount of rent each month (heat included) - makes it nice to budget for travel.

When I was at your stage in life I liked apartment living. At my current stage in life I'm OK with townhouse living but am getting ready to switch to a free standing home in a year or two. :-:

Drat - weather is not forecasted to cooperate for drive to ACY on Saturday and Sunday. Potential that I'll take a southerly route through mountains of TN (sucks during winter weather) or a northerly route through OH and PA (sucks ;) but sucks more during winter weather).

Yeah...I figure I don't even want to think about townhouses for another 3-4 years...even then, I might not want it just yet.
