Are there rebates involved?

Probably no rebate but there would be discounts.

Will do! Maybe we can meet up at the New Brunswick Sony Lowes on Rt. 1 (assuming they get it) or the Regal in North Brunswick.

Let's see where it's released and take it from there.

Excellent!

Et tu, baglady? My kids have been talking about that for weeks, ever since we saw the previews before The Fantastic Mr. Fox. That, and Chinese food, makes for a traditional Christmas for us.

Too bad we'll be on opposite coasts, or we could do an Alvin Do ;)

We did the Fantastic Mr. Fox on Thanksgiving!

I think we'll have a variety on Christmas. Need to talk to SIL what we're doing for food; I just know we're having it catered after last years underdone turkey from BIL GF.

I revised the sign-in sheet today to say "pot roast". I was a little wiser last week when I had originally said "TBD".

I've always found just bringing something TBD to pot-lucks at work is a good thing. Last week I brought Dunkin Donuts up to MSP from Chicago for one.

Last year was bringing In-N-Out to MSP for one.

Pumpkin bread is everyone's out in this potluck season... TBD means pumpkin bread to us!

Let me know too. My sister might be interested in it too. (might be the side effect from meeting so many from the Box)

Abusing UA is generally a good thing. Especially if the fine folks in Chicago come out with another MSP-GEG'esque type gift.

I wish I'd booked more than one of those tix!

Not likely to show up this weekend, unfortunately. I think we will have to wait until Christmas day. :(

Our potlucks are pretty consistent...everyone brings the same thing every time. Generally for me it means flying somewhere and getting food from another part of the country. We're a consistent group at my office.

When using UA and (gasp) US, I'll be benefiting my OnePass MM balance. Right now I'm at 768,164 with (according to FM and with a bunch missing) almost 800 CO segments and a bunch of NW/DL that probably were credited to OP.

Since I fly UA/US a fair amount, I predict I should finally hit MM in about 2 years (maybe sooner if they finally decide to look at segments/spend/consecutive years PE like I've been suggesting and Larry said was a good idea)

Or in the 4th largest city . Was in the LA area over the weekend, but no chance to go with kids being there. I'm over halfway done with the book; so should be finished by the time I go. Will be forced to see Alvin & The Chipmunks on Christmas Day; so will have to figure out how to dump the kids so Plus1 and I can see Up in the Air.

Just catching up on the last hours posties.. will you guys be in Houston during the xmas break? We are trying to figure out a day or two trip over after xmas day.. if you all are available, we want to go to a movie! Otherwise, it is AUS for USS. :)

I do too. Unfortunately, I had to go to an off-site that day at work and was having difficulty booking these trips on my Blackberry

I was under entree though because just about everyone at the office likes my cooking sensibilities. And my boss happens to be doing the pumpkin loaf.

That's why I never sign up for entree. Desserts/soda can easily be bought at the grocery store on the way to work.

Got all the lectures uploaded (finally). My laptop hates me and Charter probably is thinking "commercial use".
