I have a feeling we'll see more in-flight fees starting/increasing now that CO runs a cashless cabin. $1 (headphones) and $5 (drinks) are easier when it comes to exact change, but increases to $3 and $7 (?) won't be an issue when paying by CC. I'm sure they'll start selling pillows and/or blankets after flu season is over (since they kind of used H1N1 as an excuse to stop providing them).
Thanks baglady and anyone else I missed earlier.

I may have mentioned this a few weeks ago but Chase sent a letter saying that they were grateful for me using their CC and they wanted to thank me with a coupon for use in flight. No coupon was in the letter so I called and they said a coupon would come. A coupon came in the mail on saturday and it was odd. it is the first Adult beverage coupon that I have ever had that came with an expiration date. Guess I will need to make sure to drink an adult beverage within the next 18 months!

I feel badly for the Pats sub QB. He just got abused by the Saints D with no real potential up-side to the appearance.

Interesting. Some of the blog comments over at Weather Underground (by reasonably informed weather/meteo-geeks) showing an increasing possibility of a significant Gulf-Coast snowstorm taking place. Latest GFS model showing possible 6-8" snow accumulations near Houston within a 114-hour time-frame.
