I would have to agree with this. It's not as if they didn't ticket, and then refused to ticket/transport -- as has happened many times before. Once you're ticketed, you've got a contract. You can't get out of it for free just because you change your mind. Why should the airline be able to do so? These flights were ticketed and BA did not cancel things right away. They waited. BA is clearly wrong IMHO.

I agree. I asked what legal basis they felt they had given their CoC. He declined to answer the question, repeating that he didn't feel they ever entered into a contract. I believe that having tickets issued for 70 hours is a pretty strong claim in the other direction. I'm gathering my documentation and whatnot and will be filing my claim soon enough.
