Thanks for the advice. I was not actually being contrary for the fun of it. I was being contrary because I thought it appropriate. The original post raised my ire and I felt that an alternative view was warranted. In any event, the thread seems to have degenerated and I do think I will take your advice.

I hate cricket too. But not as much as I hate Curling.

Not to offend any Canadians on the boards, but what on earth is up with Curling? Dispense with the brooms, you control 95% of the world's supply of Zambonis.

No, hadn't heard of it until now. But if I was to get assigned to a Canadian project at work (which is a possibility) I'd definitely be interested.

I've got a good friend near YYZ that I visit a few times a year and learned of the program when going through Pearsons.

That said I want him to also apply to the program so he can get the Nexus EZ-Tag for his car to better facilitate going across the border for dinners at Carrabba's! :D

I was on the PortPass one a number of years ago that permitted one to come back into the US from Canada with the card, but that program was discontinued quite some time ago.

Gotcha -- I sent in my application a few weeks ago and am still waiting to hear back. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

But for now I'm off to one of those horrid pre-interview mixers with big oil; don't be fooled, it's as much fun as it sounds.
