How do two people not speak watching that show? It's great.

Mental block. He has the world's most severe case of tee box fear.

Even that only holds my attention because I've been there and I find it darkly hilarious that there is a maximum security Federal lockup a few miles down the road.

I just now got it - how bad is that?

How so? Breaking news overnight of hockey players shooting people? There's the brothers who play in Montreal who are in some trouble right now, but the Canadian media is burying the story because of Le Habs' 100th season, IMO.

Morning, Box.

Catching up on the box is like a job too.

I never made it to the old Yankee stadium, and I love baseball. to mystique and aura.

Anecdotal evidence town, but every hockey game I've been to has been filled with the trashiest people I've ever had the displeasure to share a building with. I would need hard data to be convinced.

They got a summer of vacations across the country and the widest readership in the industry. Football writers got to visit the iron belt and upper midwest in the winter. Similar for basketball. So the guys who were the best writers were the ones who ended up getting the baseball beat. I'm not sure it holds completely anymore - I haven't decided if I like Lupica's writing, for example - but it seems to hold pretty solidly
to baseball writers. to FJM not being around anymore.

I imagine this has put a big cramp into the creative folks in the :rolle yes: thread.

The salaries are rising faster and faster and the players are becoming sports celebrities just the same as in other leagues. Football seems to have more gun violations but as the celebrity factor continues to grow things will only get worse. And there are plenty of those players getting paid more money now than they ever could dream of, traveling with posses, etc.

You're forgetting that hockey players prefer to commit their felonies on the ice.
