What made it even funnier was that James Spader is the absolute double of a really good friend of mine, and so every time I watched it I thought of my friend Jonny. The last episode where Denny and Alan were married by the cranky judge at the fishing place was a corker. I howled!

Denny was just as acidic as the Harper brothers, and Alan wasn't far behind.

She is still easy on the eyes, but she's been rode hard and put away wet a few dozen times.

I'm watching Heat for the first time in a while, and despite the genius that is Michael Mann, I still fail to comprehend the benefit that Pacin:rolleyes: thinks he is gaining by the completely goofy and unnecessary screaming. Just because "H:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:AH!" won him an Oscar, now he thinks that every movie he does since then must have the same completely pointless affected and contrived  in at least one scene, and in Heat there are three that I can think of.

I love how completely exhausted I get when I come to LAS. It is 9PM and after leaving SAN at 6AM and driving here then attending the show, I'm done. Very  by any modern standard.

I'm quite happy about the UEFA day overall: Spain pulled it off (though technically they didn't need to), as did Scotland (and they DID need to). And I just feel sorry for San Marino, losing 10-0 to Poland. Ouch. :(

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but WWTBD?

ICN-NRT (KE 777) - NRT-PDX (DL 767)
or
ICN-LAX (KE 747)

The aerogeek in me likes the NRT-PDX line, but deep down inside I know the KE service (and seat) are likely to be better than DL service and the BE seat.

San Marino has enough people to field a soccer team?

You're right. The line is cool, but IMO flying for lines should not be a decision point on a honeymoon itinerary, even if it's the back end of it...or is this non-honeymoon?

This is for the honeymoon. We're taking the most direct flight there and (so far) I have not received any resistance to a little aerogeekiness on the return. In fact, the LAX-ATL-EWR routing (over LAX-JFK) went over just fine. The PDX routing would likely stretch it a little bit further as I would want to go with ICN-NRT-PDX-SNA-EWR on KE, DL, AS and CO respectively. :D

In the end, it still comes down to comfort and service. I know KE is likely better in both areas, but I'm just curious to know how much better...

I wouldn't gripe about aerogeekiness either given how hard it was to put together the front half of the trip. If anything, you've earned the right to get geeked out thanks to the 12 weeks of calls. And maybe it's just me, but PDX-SNA-EWR seems like a touch much on the way home. It sounds like the trip you have planned is one that you come back from and need a vacation.

:D I may agree with you on that one...

At least I am resisting the ICN-CAN-LAX routing on CZ - well, that's mostly because their J seat looks pretty poor.
