currently at IAH CSouth club. Gettin' ready to head over to terminal A for the ride home. I am so bold (obnoxious) that I now just help myself to the nutella in the cabinet underneath the afternoon cheese tray. Makes a nice snack with pretzels ^

Nope. From what I've read, they don't expire.

I was just reading that too....if only some from 1871 worth $1000 would be worth the same value today :D

Several years ago I had this exchange with my ex-neighbor after asking them nicely countless times to keep their dog in their yard...
Me stopping the lawn tractor, "Hey Tom, whatcha think of this mower?"
"Oh, that's real nice..." He really didn't seem to be all that interested but what the hey...
"This is a thirty year old Gravely 12 horse turning a 50 inch deck..."
"Oh yeah, that's nice..." He still didn't seem the least bit interested.
"It'll toss a hunk of dog poop a couple hundred yards... and half the time it's pointed straight at your house..."
Never saw that yappy little dog in my yard again.:D

Note to self: Next time I look up a movie, use IMDB instead of googleing it.

If Discover would be kind enough to really post my balance transfer and not just deduct it from available credit, that would be great. Weekend tips were about 30% of that bill.

Couer d'Alene is quite beautiful, though tiny. Couple decent hikes right in downtown. Of course, no one believes I'm just here for the day for fun.

Very productive evening when I noticed the grass was getting to high to mow so at 6:30 set out to get gas and oil, changed the oil and the mower started on the second pull so I got the whole backyard done!^

It is very pleasant. I'd like to get back up there, some time.

We cut our grass for the first time on Saturday. We love how awesome the yard looks when it is freshly cut. :)

Had an interesting evening at the dog park tonight...

An 8-month old Jack Russell was playing with these two poodle-mixes when one of the poodles decided it didn't want to play anymore. It got mad at the Jack and bit at him, so the Jack bit back. The guy who owned the other poodle got in the middle and kicked the Jack to break it up. It wasn't a hard kick but a little unorthodox.

A half hour later and the Jack is playing with the guy's other dog, a Catahoula Leopard (full grown). They are full out running around the Catahoula lays down and the Jack kind of nibbles on its ear trying to get it to play. No harm done. The ...... of an owner comes over and full out football kicks the Jack. We're talking four feet of air.

The Jack's owner runs over and while she's getting over there the other owner picks up the Catahoula and is getting ready to leave. The Jack thinks the other dog is still playing (one rule at a dog park is to not pick up dogs) and so it jumps up, the guy kicks it again! The woman screams "please don't kick my dog!" to which the guy replies, "it's vicious!". He then proceeds to kick the Jack one more time for good measure.

He gets in the woman's face about how terrible her dog is and then threatens her and storms off.

I got his plates and car type. I'll let the constable at work look him up...

People sicken me sometimes.
