I don't know how she does it. She has a patient who is terminal right now. A 16 year old w/ a tumor growing in her throat and head. The patient and her mom keep asking if there's some way they can end her life, as she is in constant pain and living in a hospice. My wife comes home and wishes we were in Washington or Oregon. I feel her stress when she comes home.

Afternoon, Box!
I was fully consumed getting my brand new Dell XPS Studio 9000 up and running today. FedEx delivered it by noon, and so it was like Christmas for me all afternoon :) Other than the fact that it is huge... it is working great. I'm most impressed that Windows 7 is, so far, completely plug-and-play. On the work front... the big boss left me a VM to tell me they misunderestimated my bonus, so there is more $$ coming :-: But my direct boss said no travel for next week :( Doesn't he realize how close I am to the Marriott MegaBonus?? Fool. I'm gonna have to stay at the Cleveland Downtown Marriott and try to get MBM3 to go out drinking before the end of April, apparently. |
