Aye.

Next time we  in the same proximity hopefully it's not after you have a rough weekend in PTY. Was all set for a night of drinkin'. Did you make it out okay this a.m.? There were some pretty spectacular storms this morning.

Indeed. Only thing that delayed us was a slight mechanical, but it was tres bumpy on climb-out. Made it into the office by 9am. Am feeling like a zombie at teh moment. Class should be over in 15 mins. ^

Sitting here pounding full-calorie Coca-Cola (sugar but no caffeine).

Ah, the benefits of management.

TR3 is coming to Austin but they have apparently not inked the deal with the venue, which is  because I want to get tickets.

Our landing last night was like the Top Gun scene where "Cougar lost it and turned in his wings"

An apt description. The FA's looked a bit queasy on climb-out this morning. Captain just gunned the 753 and took us up to cruise and westwards ASAP.

Those landings are much more fun in a 777.

I officially like the west coast of FL better than the east. So much less  over here.

Hello Box, greetings from the Westin in Charlotte. Got a nice little welcome gift from the GM, a bottle of wine from a local vineyard and a gift card for a downtown movie theater, all with a nice "welcome back" note (been here three times in the last two months)

What can I say, I'm easily impressed. :p

This part is also already 100 pages.

Not saying I couldn't or wouldn't but it would be my largest project to date.

Great picture. I love skyline shots, I'm a dork that way. I don't think I've ever seen a picture of the Perth skyline before. ^

That stuff, particularly from Starwood, is so cool. Each time I check into the LM SF, I get the standard points, and the manager sends me 2 iced Anchor Steams because I said I really liked that particular beer at a loyal customer event. ^

The decision will ultimately depend on LX releasing some F availability on JNB-ZRH (I'm actually seeing a decent amount on it on other dates). The change would cost us one visit to the FCL in FRA, but there will have been 2 other visits so I am OK with that. It would also give me a chance to see how LX handles F->F transits in ZRH (although, I'm pretty sure they don't do anything special).

Speaking of people swearing by LX, the LX form seems to think LX does no wrong and is far better than LH. It will be interesting to see how their opinion compares to reality.

I thought LX has a FCL comparable lounge in ZRH for F.
