Given the cost of my travel habit, I have to save money elsewhere. And $31 is actually moderate among my recurring expenses (covers a month of car insurance, or 3/4 month of cable/internet).

One of my Angels is back from church and continueing to go to confession! Does it look like I have a collar on me!!

I am finding out that there was a lot that I missed when I passed out!! Thank God for drinking!!

No joke. Although instead of racquet vs. gun, the discussion would have been porch vs. poo with the porch winning. Drawing down on that kid would have proven to him that knocking on unfamiliar doors is a really really bad idea. Home defense at its finest. :D

The question is multiple people trespassing in the middle of the night (on posted property) with someone holding a potential weapon. Is a group with a racquet in front of you a threat? A group with a baseball bat?

It depends what they were doing on the porch. If they're just a bunch of college students sitting on the porch up to no good, I don't think a gun is even close to being necessary. Either way, I've never heard of anyone being seriously injured with racquetball equipment.

Originally there were three Angels and I was Charlie. We added a fourth after the first of the year!! Basically they are great friends from college and all that look out for me and will have to meet any potential partner!!

If they are not supposed to be there, there is a potential threat present. Enough said. And in the case of multiple people, who is to say that all of them are unarmed? The weapon does nothing more than provide a deterrent. It's not like he lined them up and made them get on their knees and admit that they shot JFK.
