ME NEITHER. I knew Oklahoma was shaped like a meat cleaver, but WOW this never even crossed my mind. "Scarred for life" is kind of what's going on here.

So jealous. Of both of your paragraphs. I've barely cracked 18K this year - I guess that's ALMOST on track to keep Plat - but I really, really would like to fly something other than an E145 or Dash 8 sometime soon.

(And don't suggest a CRJ. :p)

In other news, it is now FINALLY the weekend. :D 47.5 hrs until my next mandatory commitment. And, as I just confirmed on the calendar, one of only two such free weekends between now and JULY.

I am at 65005 with out some LH miles. I can haz PLAT but will have to change my booked flights!

BIS I've done about 90K so far this year. :-:

Slow poke!! I thought you were are leaderl :)

Thank you PRGDiscoGal for breakfast, I will need to investigate! Also will learn how to turn on that coffeemaker you talked about last night! Tonight we go to the evnt for which I came to SAT, A friend is turning 4o and his wife is having a surprise BDay party at a Gun Range. Invite said bring kids, ammo, alcohol, and we will bring some of our guns if you dont have one!! Just no drinking before or during shooting on the range. Apparently they have a pinic area for use to set up said party!! :)

Sounds like a great time. Have fun! ^

I feel the need to address the two ply question!!

For those upset about the one ply, do you not fold the TP when using it anyways? I have always done this so if I am given 1 Ply I get 2 PLy, if given 2 Ply I get 4 ply!

Seems to work for me!

Good morning 'box.

Forgot to add that I found some Pepsi Throwback on sale yesterday at my local HEB. Bought 4 cases that were on sale! 4/$10! Score! Almost as good as a battlefield upgrade!^

Scott6067 Mar 27, 2010 10:56 am

Been thinking of starting a thread in the main part of the forum but thought I would ask here first.

For those with PC access, how do you like the move to the unbraded coffee cub? I liked the style and feel of the old cup and I kinda feel like it is cheezy to see that cup in the club. I look at these as seperate products and now they are merging. Just an observation. I know others do the same but thought I would see what people think.

Later, Box. Early into work to (finally) get fitted for my permanent set of uniforms.

Still can be found pretty much everywhere in the BNA area (but I refuse to purchase Pepsi).

Yes. And throw in heavy representation across multiple time zones.

Am I the ONLY one here who isn't having a crazy traveling and/or partying weekend?!?

Hello from IAH, Box.

I made it! thank goodness, because I have a 6am CO flight to EWR tomorrow! Or, rather, today, given the time!

My flight arrived into ORD at 20:24 at gate B16. My flight to IAH was out of gate B15 scheduled to depart at 20:47. I barged off the plane and ran like the wind and made it just in time. As I was running up to the gate the GA was calling "Are you Mrs. Brituchenite?" and I gasped "yes" and she said "we were waiting for you. Need to close up, run down the jetway" To which I gave many  given that I had just run like a maniac and could barely breathe!

WHEW! Best feeling ever! I have made more than a few trains with <60 sec to spare, and a couple of planes in similarly tight fashion! Talk about an adrenaline rush when you throw yourself into your seat after a full sprint...

I had forgotten about this!! Need to install it for my Blackberry. Looks like the free trial version works indefinitely - is that what you got or did you pay for the full version?

I know exactly where you are coming from because the last thing we wanted was some guido pumping club mixes and screaming "Let's get this party started!".

Yeah...

I've been to a few too many of these weddings/parties and maybe that's where some of my less-than-thrilled attitude towards most DJs comes from. For instance, when the groom is throwing the garter (another custom I'm more than happy to ax - bouquet, too) and he misses the direction of the crowd, you don't add a comment like "wow, if that's an indication of later tonight's activities, you're in trouble!" Not in front of people's parents and grandparents. No way.

Ahh yes, picking the songs for the first dance, bride/father, groom/mother, bridal party and cake cutting songs... SO much fun! :)

You have to pick a song for cake cutting?? Wow, this is more complicated than I thought. I was thinking first dance, bride/father, a few notes on the general feel/pace/style and a list of forbidden songs would do it...yikes.

Howdy, Box!

Made it PTY. All upgraded. Waiting for Blad to show up. Hangovers and exhaustion in effect. Should be at the canal soon enough. Oh, and we've been drinking.

Yeah, that is quite tacky. We didn't do a garter (usually gets a little trashy, IMO) or bouquet toss (mostly because there was no garter).

Well, you don't have to do anything... :) Our cake cutting song was an easy choice - Sinatra's "Come Fly With Me" (for obvious reasons).

I'm sitting at my desk at home, drinking tea. That might be the high point of the remainder of the weekend.

Possibly yes :D - ok you are not....

My schedule is pretty loaded here. But I am putting in plenty of time this trip, so I have some time to take for myself.
