Evening Box - from Mesa, AZ.
After an uneventful flight in (although breakfast in F was really good this morning), we spent the day in Goodyear, AZ to watch an Indians game. I posted pics here. (I only have a 70-210 zoom, so this was the best I could get from behind home plate). Oh, and the Indians beat the Mariners 3-1. We are going back to Goodyear tomorrow to check out the planes in the boneyard. I'll post pics of that for sure. I counted 2 747s, and 2 CO planes there, and I believe there are a good number of old UA planes. I'll know more detail tomorrow - I was just too far away from it today. John |

There was a commotion in the next office, and one of my coworkers was looking out the window with binoculars. There was a line of Playboy models walking out of the hotel across the street and boarding busses. It apparently has something to do with their golf tournament. Today was some sort of kickoff event at the Hyatt. (how my coworker knew this, I do not care to know)
Ron Jeremy got on one of the busses... ETA: I know, I know, meaningless without pictures...

Hi Box, didn't get in here at all yesterday or earlier today. What did I miss?
Hanging out in my hotel room in Houston, putting off work, and watching a show I found on CNBC about AA's operations at DFW that's fairly interesting. And I'm exhausted. Long week. |

One is San Bernardino (yes I know, a dump and it was 108 degrees when I was last there) Other places are Orange County and metro LA. I can see it turning into one trip to train the trainers which is something I've been pushing for.

For some reason I would have thought Cornell students wouldn't be too welcome in any bar in Cortland. Way too many old pick up trucks in the parking lots.

For those of you who have done this - is it an instant transfer of CO miles to AGR points or does it take a while?

Thanks. Weekend consists of apartment hunting in DC, and probably seeing family or friends there Saturday night.

I ran a track meet in the Carrier Dome. I am remembering the stadium quite a bit from this telecast.
