We drove 60 minutes from ITH to the same place. Not good.

Or Rocky Road Ice Cream. @:-)

The new Duane Reade by my apartment has Ben & Jerry's pints for $3.39. We thought it was a mistake fare last night so we stocked up. :)

Sigh. I might have hauled myself into the city for this if that wouldn't have been the 3rd weeknight this week (concert tomorrow in Brooklyn - driving, ugh - and I have to work Saturday morning. How was it?

Go Big Red indeed! B&B was good but, just like rolov, I don't really like bourbon. Still a good time.

Looks like 'cuse is about to blow this one pretty badly. Gives me more hope for the CU upset.

Where did belynch decide dinner was to be? It was mentioned earlier about an above-normal number of rescue runs to a certain restaurant...

The rest of this week has been dragging my county government kicking and screaming into the 20th century from an IT perspective. Picture people that barely understand how to use a computer, and now they have to learn how to log in and out every day, etc., etc.... yes, novice users to the extreme.

Best part is I've got 7-8 weeks worth of work that needs to be scheduled and completed by the end of April. Oh, by the way, the soonest I can start doing that work is 5 April.

OK we are on the same page here. I'm going through a merger and after 6 months of team meetings they want it our way - STAT. I've been given unreasonable deadlines but you have to mention cost-savings and new potential clients back at them to buy some time. I'm also dealing with a lot of people that aren't exactly computer savvy. Just counter any deadline with a vision you have of the future-state (cost savings, redundancy reductions etc). - Then drink some wine!

I haven't had a lot of experience with bourbon, though I do enjoy manhattans - which is why I really should go to a tasting or some such event to figure out how into the stuff I actually am.

Yes indeed. Parents are at a bar that's basically turned into a CLE pan-Ivy alumni mixer (sponsored by a couple of the local alum clubs). I'm prepared for the barrage of text messages from my mom...

I think the pizza + beer + home plan won out.
