How were you able to grab the fare class? The SQ website has to be one of the most cryptic out there.

Cool! Thanks! There's a Q fare out there as well that is $628 a/i but does not earn miles.

I'm seriously considering doing one of these. Anyone in?

Don't forget to add in the cost of a Russian visa and the fact that everything in Moscow is insanely expensive. ;)

All this and the possibility to book the wienermobile, too? I'm in the wrong line of work.

I just went out and cleared off the sat dish,I am expecting power or phones to die shortly however as the snow is starting to really stack up on the lines outside. If i disappear, I am ok :D

The Russian visa is ~$50 right? Between that and a single night at a hotel, it shouldn't be too terrible.

I have wanted to do that flight for a while, around what dates are you looking at?

You might be thinking of the EU visa which is about $50. I think these are still the current non-EU prices:

For single entry visas are:
$131 for 4-20 business days processing
$250 for 3 business days processing

Some time in March/April/May. It appears the fare is available on a bunch of dates.
