I haven't been on at all today.

My drive home was fun. It's great when the terminus of the Ben Franklin Bridge has not been plowed and there are no visible lane markers.

I have yet to see a single flake of snow fall here. :-:

Reporting in from Fairfax, VA. They were NOT exaggerating about this storm - my guess is that we've had somewhere around 1.5 feet total since ~11 am today, and the snow is falling faster and faster throughout the day. I have engaged in three hour-long shoveling sessions of the driveway so far (5 pm, 9:30 pm, 11:00 pm) and each time we went back outside, it was as if nothing had ever happened.

I also have terrible shoveling technique - I tried to be very conscious of lifting with my legs and not my back, but my arms and wrists are already starting to be stiff, and tomorrow I just KNOW it's going to hurt. :( Thank goodness for a seemingly endless supply of hats, wool socks, waterproof pants, etc. here in the house - we've all gone through several sets.

4 am to midnight, never mind all these adventures, is quite enough. Night, Box.

Accuweather was very Accu tonight. It started snowing in Center City within a few minutes of 6pm. IIRC the 6pm line was very close to Philly.

Thanks. The much larger question is if I will be able to get out tomorrow afternoon to get to work, regardless of if I drive or take the train.

Made it to Hawaii. Now waiting for my delayed flight to ITO. Of course, both the hostel and the rental car place close after I'm now scheduled to arrive. Fortunately both were incredibly nice when I called to explain. Here's hoping I don't get further delayed.
