Does this mean you are actually #1 on the standby upgrade list, or is this just a larger category?
Seems I never get the EAU on the 767s....

Sidetrack, and not directed at the OP particularly:
Why do people think the process is called EAU and not EUA? It's an extremely common mistake. I have never understood why people make it. Does anyone know why?
(My only guess is that people mistakenly think it stands for something like 'elite automatic upgrade'. Is that it?)

I did a search for ST1 and it returned no results.
I really don't understand why some people get so upset if a question is asked that you think should be easily found by searching. Here's an idea, why don't you do a search to make sure it returns results first?
Yes, in fact, I did think it stood for Elite Automatic Upgrade.

...Except ST11 means nothing. Hopefully the three character search problem will be fixed soon. I'm not holding my breath.
Regarding standby/waitlist number, only a gate agent can tell you where you stand. It is not printed on your boarding pass.

The standby waitlist is usually posted on a dot-matrix printout on the side of the podium. I don't think they're meant to be viewed by the passengers, but I see lots of people walking up there to check, and I did it once or twice too.

You can use google advanced search for 3 letter strings by restricting the search to flyertalk.com. But I agree, it's annoying and somewhat mind-boggling that at frequent flyer site of all places restricts 3 letter search strings. I mean you can't search for airport codes or code pairs on the site search..

...or have your searches too close to one another. It really bugs me that I need to wait 10 seconds just because I mistyped a query. Grr.

Or get 15,000 irrelevent hits becuase you are searching for 2 or 3 words that you intend to be found together but it returns every single thread ever with those 2 or 3 words anywhere in any order inside.

It's mostly viewed (and for use) by non-revenue passengers.
