CO Wireless Tools
Hello,
I wondered, just how many other users leverage CO's offline Windoze Timetable application? And if so, is it any good? While I primarily do my travel planning through CO.com, SideStep.com (because they were a customer from my last job) and (in the future) American Express Travel site (another topic question is how good is the Platinum AMEX Travel Service--but I'll bench that for another post elsewhere), is it accurate?
I'm asking only because the last time I got stranded in Boston back in March, I was not really able to get the Logan wi-fi to work properly and I didn't want to have to site outside the Presidential lounge to use the wi-fi there, so I figured having the offline tool, which I'm assuming will auto-update like the Delta offline tool does, might at least give me some access to their flight schedules in the event being stranded happens again (which I hope it doesn't) or at least lends itself as an easy way to find flight schedules for trip planning purposed without having to go online.
Thanks.
Eric

I have both the CO windows schedule and the SkyTeam timetable on my computer. In my experience, the SkyTeam calendar provides a superior interface and displays better connections. The only downside is sometimes you have to decode which flights are on CO and which are codeshare flights or other airlines entirely.

Thank you both for your input. I guess if I'm willing to put in some effort, the team alliance timetables seem to be better than those of the individual airlines (of team members) for information. Thank you again both of you.
Best,
Eric

CO Windows Timetable - expired version on co.com?
Does anyone else download the Windows (.exe) version of the timetable? I got the usual "Your timetable info is out of date" message, prompting me to download the updated version. However the version on co.com is still 1.4.1 from December 16th, and when you download it you still get the "out of date" message.
Is the timetable being discontinued or are they just late loading the update?

I still have XP on my work laptop, but I've run the program sucessfully for ages. I also tried uninstalling the program, then downloading the copy from the Web site. It installed properly, but still showed the out of date message, and when I selected "Help, about..." page, it still showed the December release date.

The program was updated last week. Today, I got this email from CO -
Dear Mr. Tarheelnj:
Thank you for contacting Continental Airlines.
I sent your question to our Online Web Team. They were not aware the Timetable download for PC's was still showing last years data. Once I hear from them, I will respond to your question. Continue to try the download, due to they may upload it prior to letting me know.
We appreciate your email.
Regards,

Sorry to resurrect this old thread...
I have a new laptop and downloaded the Timetable app from co.com . When I t start it, it opens, then I get a "Windows needs to close this application" and asks to forward an error report. The error report mentions "OLE32.DLL" as part of the problem. I tried replacing that file, but it still won't run. Any ideas?
I'm running WinXP SP3

Windows PC Timetable late again
This seems to be a more frequent occurrence. I got the "Your timetable is out of date" message, and downloaded the latest version of the co.exe file. It's still version 1.4.1 from March 31st.
Anyone else still use this program? These days I mostly use it to find the hidden E70 flights.

The program version has been 1.4.1 forever, its just the flight database that is updated.

As repeated above, just the timetable is updated. What is it showing as the version of the timetable?

Just checked mine, it showed 11-03-31 (March 31) and it does come up as 'out of date' . When updating, it says that it is current. Guess they don't revise it every month.

I looked under Help/About, and it says Engine version 1.07.00, effective March 31, 2011. I uninstalled the program, reinstalled it with the version on the CO site and got the same result. "Timetable out of date"
