Hrmmm. It's only Vista and Win 7 that have to deal with the run as admin shenanigans. Don't really have any other thoughts except that a firewall may be blocking the update server.Originally Posted by tarheelnj

The updated version is on co.com now, showing effective date May 19, 2011. The program must have a built in expiration date, but CO is consistantly late posting the update.
It ran fine, so my operating system wasn't an issue.

Continental discontinues PC Timetable

From the CO Web site - https://www.continental.com/web/en-U...s/default.aspx
Please note: Windows PC Timetable will be discontinued on Sept. 1, 2011. You may continue to search flight schedules using our other wireless tools or at continental.com.
You know, Continental, not everyone has an iPhone/Android device. I use the co.exe application for travel planning, and I would really like to know why it would be so difficult to continue it. It's very convenient for example when I want to figure out very quickly when booking a flight which planes on a particular route are E70's vs RJ45's. It's more time consuming to look them up live.

CO posted an updated version of the PC timetable co.exe (effective Aug 16th), which will probably be their last update, since the timetable is discontinued effective tomorrow.
I'm going to miss this tool. I use it before planning every trip to get an idea of what the options are, including connections. And it included the UAEX E70 flights that are excluded from co.com.
If anyone hears of any other free offline planning tool, I'd like to know about it. And no, I don't have an iPhone or Android (just the old reliable BB).
