I know The Saucer has its ambient-noise issues, but we haven't had a DO there for some time. Would anyone be opposed? I doubt it will be very full on a Tuesday evening the week before Christmas, and I'm getting very close to my 200 Beers Frequent Drunkard Extravaganza Reward Level!

I just realized that I would be doing 3 FT Dos in a row; Sun night at LAX with Capt. Flannigan; Mon night at SFO for the wine dinner and then this. My liver may need help by Wed. a. m.

I want to! But I just checked the schedule and I'd have at most two hours on the ground in Houston, which is cutting it very close to get from HOU to downtown, drink, discuss the random crap we talk about at these things, and get back to HOU. And then I'd still have the drive back to Baton Rouge.

Ugh, a previous commitment will make me miss it. I guess my first DO of any sort will be in February, unless there's another micro-DO before then in a town where I am.
