CLE Concourse A
CO's terminal map for CLE still says "Some Continental Flights Arrive/Depart Concourse A". Aside from international arrivals at A14, does CO still utilize the gates it has at the end of A? I recall arriving only once (from MCI back in 1999 or 2000) in an RJ into A9A, but I haven't seen a CO plane parked out there in my visits since.

Prior to Terminal D opening, CO regularly used gates in Terminal A for regular operations. However, now CO only regularly uses it for arrivals from CUN and LGW plus the occassional international diversion.

Actually, I though it was A9 and A11 (and maybe A7) that were connected to FIS as that is where I see CO67 and the USA3000 jets parked upon arrival.

I believe that US and HP combined gates on the north side of A in gates 8, 10 & 12.
Rumor has it that NW will be moving over to the south side of A to free up additional gates for CO in Concourse C.

A14 used to be the only gate connected directly to the FIS, but A11 was connected within the past several years by building a wall with opaque glass leading to the FIS.

It makes sense to have all departures leave from C & D. By the way, I did the 66/67 this year. Very convenient! Clevelanders should try to use that option when going to LGW so CO doesn't pull it, like they did daily nonstops to SJU.

It is very convenient, but I still wish it was AMS rather than LGW.
I am surprised about the SJU flight - isnt it weekly now? Ever time I took it the plane was packed! Plus, it would have made my trip to STX a whole lot easier...
