Great, I am going to be screwed on my connection however, this really sucks

You never know; it's tight. But I just stay confident and you won't panic!

Snacks; that's about it. If you tend to get hungry, brining something to eat is your best bet.

Connections: Given the time of day you should be OK in IAH on your outbound but it will be tight. Keep checking the seat map online and try to move to a more forward seat. IMHO you will need a miracle (i.e. everything on time) to make your return connection in EWR. You're late in the day at two very delay-prone airports (ATL and EWR) and have to change terminals. On the plus side, security should be quick at terminal C at that time of day and your flight to ALB may be late. If it were me I'd call reservations and try to book something with a little more leeway.

Food: I'm surprised ALB-CLE has any food listed. The "snack" will probably be a muffin. From CLE to IAH you will get cold cereal and a banana. The other "snack" flights will be the miniscule turkey or ham sandwich, a bag of mini carrots and a candy item. On your DL flight from SLC to ATL you will get your pick from a basket of chips, crackers, raisins, etc.

I just had a flight change, too. I got an email 2 weeks ago telling me that my flight to LGA through Cleveland starting in Detroit, is leaving an hour earlier, getting me into NY WAY too early. My return flight was also changed. I'm not thrilled with the new changes CO has put us through lately.

1st, I miss a trip to Alaska last December b/c my father-in-law died and they dropped me to silver Elite. I had been Gold for years, spent a fortune on their airline- even paid first-class round trip to London and still was only a silver. Then I meet a man in the President's Club who was as close to Gold as I was and they just GAVE the status to him, but not me. Now the rates are up and the schedules are changing. Sometimes I just don't know.

Thanks for that great information. On the flight CLE-IAH my seats are pretty much as far front as I can get. Row 18, on a 753. The flight is really open, so it wasnt a problem. On the ATL-EWR leg, my seats are in row 9,again they are as far front as I can get. This is good correct?

Other question: What will be the entertainment on my flights besides the ERJ flights?

I'm glad its just not me who has these schedule changes. Last summer when I went to HNL, the flight times must have changed about 10 times before I actually took off, in August. Probably because I booked the tickets in October for travel in August.

Apart from the entertainment supplied by the other passengers, your only flight equipped for entertainment is IAH-SLC. Probably a movie. Too early at this point to know which one but check here closer to flight time: http://www.continental.com/travel/in...ms/default.asp

Check in online to get a coupon good for a free headset. Better yet, take your own headset, as the ones they sell on the plane are almost worthless.

Yes I agree about the headsets, I have my own, Sony Noise Concelling Headphones, so they work well.

Sorry about asking the question, I forgot that SeatGuru has the entertainment on the website. The 757-300(CLE-IAH), and the 737-700 (IAH-SLC) has the tv and audio listed. On the Delta Flight (SLC-ATL) is on the 767-400, and that will have tvs as well.

I see a 29 minute connection at IAH, not 31 minutes. 29 minutes is under the minimum connection times. While the connection looks doable on paper, I wouldn't recommend it.

If the 11:30am IAH-SLC flight is missed, the next CO flight isn't until 5:35pm. If one is lucky, there are DL flights at 12:15pm and 3:50pm.

I'd recommend getting rebooked to a better connection (e.g. via EWR in the afternoon) or asking for a full refund and rebooking if fares are now lower.

It maybe alright, I'll have to see. I am really just waiting until today to see if that bus service is starting in EWR. It supposed to be today. If it dosent start, I am going to call them really soon.

Given the purportedly illegal connection, you might ask CO to ticket you ALB-CLE-DEN-SLC, with the CLE-DEN on CO 1531 and DEN-SLC on DL 665. Gets you to SLC at 2:24. The 35-minute connection in CLE shouldn't be a problem. It's better than 29 minutes at IAH, where you could arrive at E-21 and leave out of C-19 or something.

You could also consider DL 4081 out of DEN, arriving in SLC at 12:11p. That's a 38-minute connection in DEN and a ride from A to C on the train, however.

Don't know if CO will go along with it, but what the heck?

Thanks so much,
