Mileage on VS

Will I earn onepass RDM/EQM on a VS flight purchased from studentuniverse?

Flight is BOS-LHR N class to LHR and M class back.

I tried looking at the continental website and various threads but I'm still not sure of the definitive answer.

Also, can I cancel a VS flight reservation within 24 hrs like CO allows?

Weirdly enough I was about to ask the same thing tonight after searching today for flights from LHR to JNB and back. CO.com says yes to EQM's but the first phone agent said no. So, I tried the calling back repeatedly to the elite desk and final answer is: 8 agents say yes to EQM on VS and 9 agents say no. There probably were better things I could have done with my time and I look forward to getting this figured out.

That's hilarious - I wonder if CO would be forced to give you the EQM if you were to get the name of one of the agents who told you that you would get it.

You get miles and EQM for VS flights that have CO flight numbers on. BOS-LHR is one.

LHR-JNB is not. So, just Onepass miles but no EQM.

So even if I didn't buy it through CO I still get EQM?

Correct. Based on all FTers' experience. Same deal for EVA (BR) between US and TPE.
