I'd be careful about imputing motives to others, using travel patterns as "evidence."

As for the 'flirt', during the following interaction with the TA there was a degree of 'flirt' going on.
This was on TWA and many years ago.
After handing our tickets and passports to the TA in MIA the agent confirmed Rome was our final destination, to which I answered it was and we were on our honeymoon. When she handed back our PBs, tickets and passports the TA mentioned that nothing could be done for our MIA - JFK leg, however, we were alright for the JFK - FCO segment. I didn't think anything about it until we were walking towards the gate and the lit. I told Mrs. Italy that we had a UG from JFK - FCO and she thought I was crazy. Looking at our BPs it was very evident that we had received a very nice present from TWA in an UG.
