Postal outlet at EWR?
Does anyone know if there's a place at EWR to mail a small parcel (get postage per weight etc.)? I was kinda hoping to mail a book to someone from there tomorrow evening. Thanks in advance!

all i know is that they do have a mailbox in terminal C right near the currency exchange booth. i've used it before, and the letters got there just fine.

Ever heard of Amazon.com?
It would probably be cheaper to order & ship online.

Amazon doesn't sell books signed by authors very often, particularly former United States Senators.

There is an Airport Mail Center at EWR but I have no idea if they have a customer counter or what its hours are.

I do not believe that the Airport Mail Center is open to the public.
For your info, the nearest post office is at 772 Newark Avenue, Elizabeth NJ 07208
Tel # 908-355-0176.

Like one of the other poster's said, there's a drop box and stamp maching between C1 and C2, next to the currency exchange. There's no scale though - if you can weigh it ahead of time, that might work - or just go way overboard with postage.
There used to be a FedEx drop box on the baggage claim level, but I think it's been removed...?

A warning on the "way overboard on the postage"
One of the things that postal inspecters look for since the unibomber thing is "too much postage", so don't go too far overboard...

I think if you have a valid return address with a name, I doubt it would raise TOO many suspicions. I mean the Unabomber never had, "If unopened please return to Montana address..." on it.

Actually in Terminal C the Staples Express location has the ability to ship via UPS. This will be your best bet as long as your package does not put you over the 2 personal items per person while going through security.
