W, OTOH, stands for "wing," which is where you are strapped when you buy that fare.

The CO cheapie fares (who CO thinks any REAL FF would not certainly dare to fly with) are increasingly being divided, sub-divided, sub-sub-divided etc into little teeny tiny fare categories in order to meet the most up-to-date earnings "enhancement" algorithms. This is why they appointed a new CEO ans Chairman. Gordo could not think that far outta the "26 character fare box". They needed a younger guy who could count higher.
"W" fares are only sold to females 21 years or older (think: (W)oman). "I" fares are sold to any person 1 day or older (think: (I)nfant+). "S" for (S)enior, "T" for (T)een+ and etc etc ad infinim (ad nausum). CO will be using the Greek alphabet starting in Jun and the Sanskrit alphabet starting this Oct. After that they will have such goodies as % fares, & fares ie 2 for 1 fares, and AA fares for sobering ex-boozers, AAA for the auto club people etc.

Ah yes. The "H A D" catagory. This would be the feeling we all get after playing (and losing) the HoKeY lottery game.

Okay, my EWR brethren. I've tried and tried and tried, but I have not been able to figure out what "ROTFLMAO" means. Please provide some guidance to this wayward soul.

I thought it meant something like this:
ROTFLMAO
Rolling On The Floor Laughing MadAt lOud.
Ok, so I'm not right but I think I got the ROTFLM part correct. Someone else will need to finish up for our esteemed barister.
