IAH - what's with the lines?
I have just flown through IAH and was shocked at the length of the lines at immigration. It took me over 2 hours to get through, I only just made my connection.
What happens to those who have shorter connections?
It's a nightmare! Got to be the worst airport in the world! Are they going to do anything about it?
I have to fly through there next month and am seriously worried about making my connection. Is there a fast track for those who have tight connections?

Same was happening in EWR, though not to the extent you described.

I was in the foreigner's line - however the US line was even longer, stretching down to the gates!
Do you think things will calm down or will it be like this for the forseable future?

If it's any consolation, at least you get nearly $2.00 for each unit of your home currency these days.

The long lines are politics...customs/immigration wanted something from the airlines and the airlines did not want to provide it, so this is their retaliation. FUN FUN FUN!!!
