I am a Platinum Elite with only 12,000 Elite miles YTD.
What is CO likely to do?

Last year CO offered some folks in this situation the option of paying to retain status. Based on the way they seem to want to thin their elite ranks I'd guess they will not make such offers this year.

Hmmm...I'd think they'd prefer to go for the tall folks who would be more willing to pay for the increased status to get the better pitch.
