Elite Accesss Guarantee for codeshare flights?
I am gold with Continental and was forced into a middle seat on a flight last night from Detroit to Cleveland. It had both a CO flight # and NW flight # - I think it was an "H" fare for that leg. Does this qualify for the 1000 bonus miles? It was full fare (CLE to CVG and then CVG to DTW to CLE). I feel I should get them - if you could have smelled the girl next to me - she was nasty! That alone should be worth at least 1000 miles! (<:
Also, my bag was tagged with a priority tag but it took over 30 min to come out - almost at the end.

i believe it's only for continental metal. also, was your bag tag "priority" or "eliteaccess?" if former, continental would just say sorry. you might have a better complaint with WE CARE if it had an eliteaccess tag.

The guarantee only counts for "full" fare tickets. I doubt that H qualifies in the mind of CO.

I know this is an old post, but are there both Elite Access baggage tags and Elite Priority tags? I only have Priority. Thanks.

After I wrote this, I called CO to see if I was missing something. They told me that Elite Access tags are only given out to people that buy "full coach fares" and the priority tags are still for regular elites.

Are these priority tags new one-time-use tags or the standard-issue CO priority tags?

I think that you may only get them each time you buy a full fare, but I'm not sure.

They're one-tine use tags that get stuck in the barcoded claim tag.
With the one-time use barcode tag, eliteaccess tag, tsa sticker/tie, connection tag, along with my normal priority tag and name tag, my bags are starting to look a little stupid.
