Looking 40 & Being Elite
I'm 40, and, well...I look about 40. Sometimes people just don't give me the respect I deserve. Many times other passengers have cut in front of me, thinking I couldn't be elite. The other day an FA called me, "Sir." Another time one called me, "Mr." - I looked behind me to see if my dad was standing there. Do I look like some old guy? No! I'm only 40.
Do any of you have similar experiences? Do you think this thread will get 24,000 views? Do you even care?

As for people cutting in front of you. I believe it is more so that other elites are trying to wade through the "non-elite" people that immediate get in line to board. Many congregate in the elite line that shouldn't be there and I ask if they are first or elites as I do not want to cut in front of another elite/first, never not thinking they couldn't be elites. And how do you know what other people are thinking?

I'm in my 30s, but look like I'm in my 20s
and I definitely don't like an elite ^ I've had a GA tell me that this is 'Pre-boarding only!' after they announced elite pre-boarding.
BTW...what does an elite look like anywayz...
