Transfer of miles to CO

From which airline or hotel programs could miles be transfered into a CO account?

The following list is presumably not exhaustive --

Hotel programs:
Starwood
Hilton
Marriott
Priority Club

Other programs:
American Express Membership Rewards
Diners Club
Amtrak Guest Rewards

But the better question would be.. why would you want to do something like that?

I'm looking for the opposite list... what can I transfer CO miles to?

I see the budding of a mutually beneficial transaction between yevlesh2 and notsosmart...

I've transferred CO miles to Amtrak very quickly. You can launder miles quickly to United or Hilton using this method, but Amtrak caps transfers out of their program to 25K per calendar year (or 50K for Amtrak elites).

If you're not in a hurry, you can transfer miles directly to Hilton HHonors

Any idea on how long it takes to post... on average?

And do I call CO to do this, or Hilton?

Thanks

I've never done CO>HH, but people report that it takes months (and with a runaround if you try to follow up).

I would suggest the Amtrak route- took one business day CO to Amtrak a first time, and a few days the next time. From Amtrak, you can transfer to Hilton online- takes a day or two, IME.

Either way, I would assume you call CO to initiate a transfer.

I rarely fly CO but frequently use Amtrak. 5000 miles for a WAS-NYC roundtrip on Amtrak is a good deal.

Considering the upcoming Delta-NWA-CO alliance, any chance I may be able to transfer Delta miles to CO or directly to Amtrak?

What is the exchange rate for HHonors?
