but since the moderator has the power to lock threads, maybe there can be a function whereby the moderator can change topic titles as well so they don't remain poorly titled anymore.

I ask you (rhetorically)-- why bother to have titles at all? Those who insist on vague titles and feel we should wade through the threads just in case they turn out to be interesting are like the spammers who insist that we receive their heaps of junk email messages/day and "simply" delete them if unwanted. At some point the value/message diminishes to where you can't find anything valuable anymore. Is that what you want FT to become?

oh yeah, I was thinking of becoming a NWA silver last year and was interested in upgrades on CO award tickets.
But this way the poor title will simply reflect poorly on its author. Guess again
