That happens to me with some frequency but I usually get an email. I check my records at co.com to see if the upgrade cleared when the email doesn't happen. But you are supposed to be getting email also.

I got an EUA e-mail at 9:00am for an 11:00am flight once. I have also gotten upgraded with no e-mail, possibly never having been EUA'ed, but manually upgraded before check-in.
If in doubt you can check your seat assignment on-line to see if you have been moved. A good practice anyway, because CO might have changed plane types from the time you booked (from a 767 2-3-2 seating to a 757 3-3 seating for example) and your assigned seat could become much worse.

Most of the the time I do NOT receive an email--I've found the email notification to be a joke.

Just a possibility:
Our company spam filter was intercepting our EUA notices.
Of course, the filter was letting the "You need a bigger d**k" email offers through.

I just got upgraded for 2 segments this weekend. No notification email but happened to check the reservation online and saw the upgrade.
Sometime I have gotten the EUA emails after the flight has departed.
Crazy!

I just received an email notification for my wife and I for our flight tomorrow.
I have found that sometimes the EUA email notfication box in (my) profile un-checks itself for no apparent reason. I have had to re-check it on two occasions to make sure the setting was accurate. Sort of annoying, but not a huge deal.

I almost always get EUA notifications when I am upgraded (even when they hold all F seats until the 3-hour window). On a few occasions, I have not received notifications for flights that have great F availabilty (e.g., IAH-SAT on a 757). When I checked my account settings on co.com, my EUA notifications preference had been magically turned off. This has happened a few times. Y'all might want to check your account settings just to make sure that you have not been enhanced by the CO IT dept.

Upon checking as suggested, I too discovered my email upgrade notification box had been unchecked. Thanks for the advice to check this out.
