Does Continental have a status "Challenge"?
I am considering a flight to Europe from SFO on Continental. Does continental have a program similar to the AA challenge, i.e. where you can fly 10K miles within 3 months and obtain Bronze status?
Any other ways to obtain expedited status? I already have 75K miles, but alas these were accumulated over several years.
I know Continental will match status from other airlines, but I did that several years ago so I don't know if they will match again.
Thanks.

no. in fact, you're just as likely to get comp'd if you have never flown continental but you sign up for AT&T long distance, for example, than if you promise to fly them quite a bit. there are scads of stories on here of people getting unrequested silver comps in the mail. who knows why?
you're welcome.

The only 'challenge' I'm aware of when talking about Onepass is redeeming your miles for anything usefull
