Does Continental have a status "Challenge"?

I am considering a flight to Europe from SFO on Continental. Does continental have a program similar to the AA challenge, i.e. where you can fly 10K miles within 3 months and obtain Bronze status?

Any other ways to obtain expedited status? I already have 75K miles, but alas these were accumulated over several years.

I know Continental will match status from other airlines, but I did that several years ago so I don't know if they will match again.

Thanks.

no. in fact, you're just as likely to get comp'd if you have never flown continental but you sign up for AT&T long distance, for example, than if you promise to fly them quite a bit. there are scads of stories on here of people getting unrequested silver comps in the mail. who knows why?

you're welcome. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

The only 'challenge' I'm aware of when talking about Onepass is redeeming your miles for anything usefull http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
