How long for EVA miles to post?
Does anyone know how long it takes for the EVA miles to post in the One Pass account?
I just took my first flight EVA to Taipei. I am totally sold on the airline. UA and NW used to be my choice of airlines to Asia. Now EVA is my first choice.

Not Impressed w/Eva, but miles posted with 5-6 days
My OnePass miles posted within 5 or 6 days of travel on Eva. I was less than impressed with Eva. For the price I paid to take Eva Evergreeen class from EWR to TPE, I could have flown SQ EWR to SIN nonstop and avoided a horrible stopover in Seattle. The seat comfort was lacking, food was not very good and inflight service was non-existant. You'll never need to worry about a crowd at the TPE airport, it was not heavily loaded.

My buddy who makes the frequent journey to the Asia told me that the posting of miles to his OnePass account has been working like a clockwork. Typically less than a week for flights departing from US, and about 2 weeks for flights departing from Asia. Not too sure why where you depart from made such a difference.

However I would have to say that for the price, Evergreen Deluxe (if you buy through an asian travel agent) is well worth the money. Not quite FC service but for me close enough - especially when you walk to the back of the plane and see the cramped quarters back there.

I fly BR a few times every year. It appears to me that BR sends flight info to CO every two months.
I always send my boarding passes & ticket stub to CO on my return & I have my mileage within a day or so.

facorsig, you are right about stops and I do love SQ. EVA actually has fewer stops for me. With the exception of Tokyo and Beijing, from IAH, I am looking at two or more stops with UA or NW and 1 stop with EVA. I actually prefer EVA food over NW food. May be it is also because I like Chinese food. I think Evergreen Deluxe (business class without the services) and coach classes are every good value. My EVA coach tickets were 40% less than NW and less than 50% of CO. Next time, I will get the Evergreen Class for ~$300 more RT. I have only flown business with UA, so I can't compare. The coach class service was better than NW and I think there is a couple of inches more leg room than NW.
Some how SQ did not show up as an option for TPE. Also, SQ and UA do not generate One Pass EQM, their prices have to be really good for me to fly them.

EVA Miles
I fly EVA a ton to Saigon and I have to send my stubs in every other trip -- for some reason they just don't get it right. I have to say I really like the SFO - TPE - SGN route, it's very convenient for me. Also, EVA service isn't that bad in Evergreen Deluxe, in fact, I've flown C on the top deck and I like Evergreen Deluxe better than their C product.
So, word of wisdom - keep your stubs and then send them in if your miles don't post.

Eva Posting
I am also former Houston resident with experience travelling back to IAH from abroad. Seems I am in the minority with period for posting miles to OP. Could be explained that I live in SE Asia and travel from home to US instead of vice-versa. Certainly, my miles posted within one week. I have no experience with NW, but my expectations would be uniquely low. UA is probably above NW, but not much. Against these, Eva probably stacks up pretty good. My destination has never been TPE as I use Taipei, Hong Kong and S'pore as gateway cities, but I would encourage anyone who is travelling to look at CX, SQ, Thai for travel to this region.

EVA's safety record plus Evergreen Deluxe premium seating makes the airline THE obvious choice for OnePass members. If you have a Diners Club card (now affiliated with MasterCard) you can use the EVA Business Lounge in the TPE terminal on layovers. Love those mid-trip showers, access to e-mail, and unusual snacks!
I've never had a problem with miles posting on the USA to Asia segments. I've had to fax or mail receipts every time on the Asia to USA trips!
