Speaking of Elite "sootkase" tags, I just uploaded a picture of my 1993-2000 Continental Airlines Elite Tag collection.

YAWN! ----
Just got mine - wondering why they didn't just send a little "3" sticker to cover the "2" on my 2002 card. Would have saved some postage.

received mine two days ago. i am surprised they even bothered. even the elite guide is on a severe diet, with the centerpiece being a discussion of the award winning continental.com web site.
perhaps in keeping with the new gordo pizza philosophy, if we agreed to an additional elite charge, we would receive a more robust kit.
"you just spent 75000 miles in a continental seat-for an additional $50 USD you can receive an exquisite faux silver luggage tag commemorating the fact"
