2003 Elite Kits

The best thing: they went back to the old style Priority Handling Tags. (I know, they really don't help at most airports...) There are also 4 Continental Currency certificates, 2 stickers for your address inside your bag, a T-Mobile promotion, a Chase credit card promotion, and the Elite Guide.

What is "flybe"? It's listed under the airlines on which we can earn OnePass miles.

i was hoping this line of discussion would start soon. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Got mine today too, by First Class Mail from Dallas Texas, no less.

Nothing to hyperventilate about FCTSTY http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

I wondered about Flybe too, it's British European. Looks like a low fare upstart, lots of 19£ fares, just the thing to top off a CO transatlantic coach flight. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

No more leather ticket wallets and Ashford certificates. So sad.

Gee, I was kinda hoping for a P-Club pass or two.....

Old Gold Feb 3, 2003 7:12 pm

I don't know about Infiniteflyer, but I'm a P-Club member, and in past years members didn't get passes.

The reduction from 6 to 4 Continental Currency certificates is probably just a sign of the economic times for the airlines.

They reduced the P-Club passes from two in 2001 to One in 2002, so the logical withering (of benefits) in 2003 would be... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

Just to clarify, these are links about flybe...not links about 2003 Elite kits. It would help if you were more clear, UpgradeMe. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

I'm not a P-Club member, and I didn't get any passes.

I wasn't a member of this board when they gave out the Ashford certificates and I was too busy to go through the entire packet years ago, and I just let them expire! If I had read this board I'm sure someone would have alerted me to their upcoming expiration.

IAH_FLYER Feb 3, 2003 8:36 pm

Was there any PC marketing material in the packet? In the past, the passes were hidden inside PC applications/brochures.

infiniteflyer Feb 3, 2003 9:26 pm

There was nothing about the President's Clubs in my kit.

UGLY FIREMAN Feb 3, 2003 11:10 pm

I'm in Honolulu so i haven't been home to check my snail mail, but right before I left I received two president club passes from the credit card company.

What are Continental Currency certificates?
Sounds like playmoney...

NJDavid Feb 4, 2003 4:32 am

The P-Clubs are getting so bad, I wouldn't doubt that CO marketing would put 2 passes in the Silver kit, 1 in the Gold, and as a special benefit, none in the Plat kit "Enhancing the Platinum benefit by facilitating their avoidance of the now limited selections available."
