Silver Elite Finally!
I just hit Silver elite and was wondering what kind of new perks I can look forward to?

Welcome to FT, klamb!
And welcome to being barely a knotch about grunt. You can expect:
- Preboarding priviledges: after FC, Plat, Gold, but just before the grunts.
- Comp upgrades to FC: if you fly on non-hub routes on Tuesdays during lent.
- Bonus miles per trip.
- Luggage tags: which seem to help on occasion getting your suitcase first.
- An offer for the President's club. Look closely at it as it may include a one-time pass for free booze.
- An increased chance of using your miles.
- Slightly reduced fees for last minute award flight changes.
------------------
On the road, In the air,
I enjoy travel, From here to there.

I only fly CO domestically, but have never seen preboard in order of elite level. Is this ever the case?

She wasn't kidding either based on my cursory inventory of Priority tags.
Also, speaking of Priority tags, LGA (or maybe the baggage handlers in IAH who load the bags) seems to be very good at getting Priority bags out first. In the many times I've flown into LGA from IAH, my bags have been among the first handful out on the carousel.
I'm not sure how consistent this is with other peoples' experiences, however.
