nw seating assignment for op elite
I'll be travelling international on a 744. Trying to get assigned a seat in rows 1-4. Problem is that my OP elite status is not coming thru on the NW side. Had them re-input the number several times, etc.. Agent said that I needed my account to show elite vs. premium in order to "unlock" those seats. Is this true? Any suggestions? Thanks.

Typically, problems occur if the names on itineraries are not EXACTLY the same as what is on the OP account. ie, one may say "Jr. and the other does not.
I recently bought a ticket to Asia on 744/742 and was automatically assigned the nose of a 744 and upstairs on the 742, so the system CAN work. Whether or not it does is another matter,
