EUA for NW Flights

As CO Plat, I'm 30-30 upgrades on NW flights (NW, thank you so much for the number of FC seats you have!!). However, not once have I received an e-mail notification (at any time within the 5 day window). Not real sure if we are supposed to receive an e-notice. Anyone guess what is going on? I check the NW web site, and find my seat is upgraded that way (usually), but I would rather not have to do those extra steps (and no, WECARE2 won't look into they - agent said I was getting my upgrades, so why bother?).
This is not a big complaint, but I am curious. Are we supposed to be e-notified of NW upgrades? If not, fine, but why wouldn't WECARE2 simply tell me that??

You don't get notified by e-mail of upgrades on NW flights, but you get the upgrades, which is more important. On my most recent NW trip (PHX-LGA RT for $129) all my flights were upgraded before 5:00PM on the 6th day before the flight.

And if EUA misses you, you can call and get it done manually... What a concept!

well its obvious that CO is going to rely on "technology" to replace human beings at any chance they get....

can we start calling the computer that runs the EUA program "HAL"????

I have had great luck as a silver getting upgraded on HP, NW and CO. Depends on the plane and the time of day. Just had an EWR-SAN transcon upgraded to F but then had to postpone the trip. DRAT!
