Posting of OnePass Miles

I just returned from a trip to SIN. All of the flights on CO metal have posted.

On March 29th I flew NW 19 from NRT to SIN. The ticket was on the CO codeshare CO 5019.

There's an entry in my OP on line statement of the date and flight, but no miles posted.

How long does it generally take for NW to notify CO?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

According to MJW (FT'er who is a NW employee), NW sends the data to CO every Sunday, and it should be posted to our OnePass accounts by the following Wedsnesday. That being said, it doesn't always happen, so if your last flight was on 3/29, I'd send the boarding passes into CO.

If the line item posted, but posted with 0 miles - then chances are that the NW fare was not valid for mileage accrual. The other option is that your particular route is not loaded into the CO "mileage master" and you would need to call OPSC so they can correct the problem.

It was a business class fare (D) on a CO codeshare flight number & CO ticket.

I completed the missing flight credit info on the CO website so we'll see what happens. I do have the boarding pass in the event I need it.

"D" is the problem. I have frequently used ONEPASS miles to upgrade NW "M" fares to BKK/SIN and the NW ticket is issued in "D" class. THis is also the class for free award tickets. So the CO computer does not read this as a revenue ticket. You will need to send in the boarding passes. Even then, some dummy at CO may simply enter the flights as "D" and they will post with no miles. At that point, then send OnePass an email explaining the problem and they can correct it and add the miles. BTW, they changed the fare class to "Y" to make the miles "take". It takes a while but you will get the miles.

Vulcan you were correct. Even though it was a CO ticket, with the CO codeshare flight number, the CO computer thought it was a NW award ticket.

I just got off the phone with a very helpful OPSC agent who "fixed" it. Said the miles should post in 48 hours.

Be kind to us and give us the name of that helpful onepass agent! We can add it our "winners" list. (If you remember who it was)
