Taking into consdieration that a few of us FTers may be going thru LAS over the next 30 days I was wondering if there's any current info on an elite priority security lane that CO plats can utilize?

Certainly a valid question, but why a need to ressurect an 8 year old thread? Surely most of the info in this thread is irrelevant today?

I was in LAS a month or so ago, and I'm heading there tomorrow night. I finish meetings too late to make it back to Houston from SFO tomorrow night, but by god I can make it to Vegas, and then to Houston the next day.

There is an elite line, and it typically is blissfully quick compared to the sea of folks in the normal line.

Depending on the time and day of travel, the elite line can back up, but no more than you would see during a good day at IAH or EWR.

Just flew out of LAS twice this week - Weds & Fri (Had a long week. EWR-MCO-IAH-LAS-EWR-SFO-LAS-EWR) Both times, used the 'First Class' line on the D gates, no problem - they saw "EliteAccess" on the BP and let me right through. No problem at all. Sailed right through. Note that in both cases, I was in the back of the bus (I did get a battlefield upgrade at the gate on Friday - and NO, it wasn't CO169 that someone else had trouble with.... )

When you get to the security checkpoint, go to the RIGHT. The First Class line is on the right-hand side of the railing.

Flew from LAS in OCT . I am non elite and it took me 2 minutes to get through the security (I had a midnight flight ) and cleared it at 930-945 pm . Gave me more time to have drinks at the P-CLUB^ .

Thanks for all the quick and helpful replies. In my past experiences at LAS the mornings are usually pretty congested when compared to evenings. My flight is the 6:45am to IAH. Thanks again.

I cleared around that time on two consecutive days in September (long story there). Even without the elite/F line I was through in under 15 minutes. It looks bad when you approach but they were moving the crowd pretty quickly.

Sweet! Thanks sbm. Even with the massive influx of FTers over the next month, I should be fine.

I fly in and out of LAS every few weeks, and haven't been delayed by security longer than 10 minutes in two years.

What did suck was the 6 months or so when only one tram was running. That is fixed now and both are operating normally.

In recent months I have flown out of LAS twice, at 7:00am and 8:00am. The elite security line was quite quick; just a few minutes.
